Cranachan Scottish pudding

Ingredients...
3oz {1/2 cup} of pinhead or coarse oatmeal
....
1/2 pint double cream
....
1 tablespoon Drambuie Scottish liqueur {believed to have been the favourite tipple of Bonnie Prince Charlie}
....Method...
Toast oatmeal in frying pan on high heat until lightly browned....Whisk cream into soft consistency mix in the oatmeal and Drambuie..or good Whisky ..Serve in tall glasses

A popular variation uses 6oz ..{1 and 1/2}cups of fresh raspberries..along with heather honey...You can also replace the cream with vanilla ice cream...
